News from Lutheran Campus Ministry of Montana

Do you have a student who will be attending a college or university this fall? Lutheran Campus Ministries in Bozeman and Missoula are receiving names of students who will be enrolled so they might contact them and invite their participation in the ministries. A new community forms each fall and all are welcome as we live out our faith in community. We gather in the name of Jesus Christ. Students are invited to bring their faith, questions, doubts, hopes, fears, and passion to make the world a better place. Names may be sent directly to the

campus:

The ELCA provides a campus ministry presence at over 180 public and private colleges and universities across the nation. Additionally, there are another 600 cooperating congregations in campus ministry at campuses across the country. Find a link to refer a student to any of these locations, as well as a wealth of other resources, at httD://~~~.el~a.~rq/~amp~~mini~t~/.

There are resources for pastors, congregations, parents, and students. One helpful item is a "12 Month Guide for Congregations that Care for Students" giving ideas for congregations to connect with their college students each month. You don't have to do them all. Just choose a month to begin and get started. The link is: htt~://www.elca.ora/campusministry/resources/l2MonthGuide.~df.

Keep students, staff, faculty, and ministry staff in your prayers in the coming weeks as classes begin. And remember that Pastors Lund and Spring (and sometimes students) are available for supply preaching, adult forums, and other events to share the story of campus ministry.

Thank you for the partnership we share!
