regarding the menu. A motion was made by Mavis Weiler, seconded by Adeline Lagerquist to serve Spaghetti at this year's bazaar. The motion carried. Val will get job descriptions for the circles made up to be distributed at the September meeting.
*The volunteer coffee hours were discussed. The general consensus was that they were going well.
*The 2008 Proposed Budget was presented. Several changes were made to the proposal, but the total budget amount remained the same. The amended budget will be presented for a vote at the September meeting.
*The Nominating Committee will need to start contacting people to consider running for the positions of Vice-President, Treasurer and Action Committee.
'Discussion was held regarding the gerbera daisy napkin rings that Julie Leininger had provided as decorations for the WELCA Cluster Spring Gathering. Approximately 10 -12 of the napkin rings were destroyed during Vacation Bible School. Val will visit with Julie about replacing them or reimbursing her for them.
*A person has made known their desire to purchase a kitchen item as a memorial gift to the WELCA and wanted ideas of what items might be needed. Val will check with the individual to establish an approximate amount of the donation so we can better judge what item might be the most useful.
*Carol Grover presented information she collected at the WELCA Spring Synodical Convention that she thought might be of interest to the WELCA.
